If you heard any of the first series of the podcast:
‘Investing in Conversation – Conflict Management for Managers’
you’ll have heard from at least one of the experts who appeared on one of my previous pods:
‘Conversations with the Invisible Woman’.
That series (which ran from 2013 to 2016) made a vital, if slightly unusual, contribution to my education on the subject of communication in general – and its role in conflict in particular. Each episode either came out of my learning something from the guest’s work, or resulted in that person teaching me something. Either way, the programmes made it possible for me to learn directly from some of the top people across a range of fields.
Those original shows were only ever available to visitors to the company website – but since I dipped into them for the latest pod, I’ve been asked to re-release some of them in full. So over the next month or so (while I pull the second series of ‘Investing in Conversation’ together), I’ll release a selection of ‘Conversations with the Invisible Woman’ which have stood the test of time – and give you some background here.
I’ll start next week, with my first recorded conversation with the guest who launched the current podcast – sound expert, Julian Treasure.
In the meantime, if you need help with any aspect of conflict management at work, come and talk to me! All my details are on the website:
